Dr. Schone was born and raised in South Dakota then moved to Bettendorf, IA. He attended and graduated from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. He started an office in Pataskala, OH on October 12, 1973. In 1976, he moved his office to Brice Road in Reynoldsburg and has been there ever since.
Schone's Chiropractic Clinic specializes in the Gonstead System of Chiropractic. This system is the product of 55 years of work and refinement by Dr. Clarence S. Gonstead. Being a formally trained mechanical engineer, Dr. Gonstead chose to study chiropractic when his rheumatic arthritis remised under chiropractic care. Upon his graduation from the Palmer School of Chiropractic in 1923 he began practice in Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin. Dr. Gonstead wholly devoted his life to the proper application of the chiropractic principle from that time on.
A grueling schedule typified his practice. He rarely stopped adjusting on the same day that he started. Often he would see over 200 people a day (from around the world) yet he never stopped studying. He was a pioneer in adjusting. On Sundays he would fly his plane to Lincoln College of Chiropractic to dissect spines and he literally wore out copies of Gray's Anatomy and Guyton's Physiology. To this day he is considered the best chiropractor the world has ever seen. He was truly as Dr. Femandez called him "the Miracle Man."
